Back in 1999, I began my sales career….. and wasn’t very good at it. But, over the years, through persistence and determination, I honed my skills. I spent countless hours cold calling, working trade shows, and attending networking events. As time went on, I improved. My closing ratio jumped from 2 out of 10 to 8 out of 10. Along the way, I earned a company bonus car, earned some trips, and built a sales team. It took me 13 long years to figure it out and in 2013, I decided to capture everything I had learned in sales and put it in a book.
